Enchanted Rock State Natural Area

16710 Ranch Rd 965, Fredericksburg, TX 78624

A 425-foot pink granite dome about 18 miles north of downtown Fredericksburg, part of a batholith roughly 1.08 billion years old. Day-use passes are officially 'recommended' but the park frequently sells out on weekends and holidays.
